Episode : #345: The Right People in the Right Seats

Podcast Description

Team culture is incredibly important and valuable in any workplace, and in this episode, Dr. Jenny Perna has returned to the Dental A-Team podcast to share her experiences in the dental world.

Dr. Perna has been in toxic cultures before, where the wrong people sat in the wrong seat on the bus, so to speak, or they sat in the right seat, but didn’t have the right attitude. To fix the negative atmosphere, she focused on the following:

  1. Anyone can be a leader. Don’t be afraid to step up.

  2. Relate everything to your core values.

  3. Be committed.

Fixing a toxic culture can take a while — years, even — but take heart from Dr. Perna’s advice. (Check out this accountability survey we have!)
