End of year Fun Activities for Teams

With the end of the year nearing, some of our clients are prepping fun activities for their teams and are looking for ideas. This time of year comes and goes quickly. Putting the preparation off for too long can cause some unnecessary stress and sometimes means you have to skip the event due to time constraints!

Let’s ensure you are prepped and ready to go!

Here are some ways we’ve seen amazing offices celebrate a fun, successful year together (sometimes simple is appreciated more than you realize!):

• Team dinner and gathering at a local restaurant/ venue (supporting local business owners is always a great idea if there’s space for that!)
• Shopping spree bonus – getting everyone together at a local mall/ store and giving each team member cash to go spend within a time limit; come back together and share what you purchased over dinner!
• Activities with your team are always great!

  • Golfing (or a venue like Top Golf or mini golf)
  • Paint night
  • Pottery
  • Permanent jewelry 
• Learning a new skill together
  • Painting
  • Jewelry making
  • Pottery
• Volunteering at a local event
  • Running/walking a 5k that supports a specific community/ event you all love
  • Soup kitchens
  • Holiday drives
• Hosting a family event at a venue nearby or someone’s home; you can have activities for kids, do a potluck style meal and allow everyone to spend some time together!

Whatever you do, don’t overthink it and remember that you’re looking to find something for the majority. You may not be able to target everyone’s interest at the same time, that’s OK too!
